The
Association of Women in Property Women in Property is a national, not-for-profit organisation with over 1,600 members and 12 regional branches. It represents all disciplines within the property and construction industry. The role of National Communications Consultant is multi-faceted, involving regular contact with the Executive Director, the National Chairman and twelve branch Chairmen. The Public Relations function is central to this, with the preparation of press releases, commentary for industry and regional publications and responding to journalist enquiries. As the organisation has grown, so has the need to refresh and develop the ‘brand’. This has included the redesign, compilation and writing of a quarterly newsletter, the redesign and copywriting of the Women in Property website. In addition, the Women in Property National Student Awards is an important initiative, for which Sue has helped grow a strong media awareness over the past year. "The breadth and variety of work involved in the National Public Relations and Communications role requires a committed and level-headed response. Sue is diplomatic and yet assertive, making a significant difference to the organisation, both to the way in which our brand has become very much more professional and contemporary and, critically, to the level of press cuttings we have received over the past year." Fiona Alfred, Executive Director, Women in Property |
